Group Strength & Pilates Classes Newcastle

REFORMER PILATES 

Our reformer classes are a more traditional Pilates class. Run by an instructor who is there to help with technique and motivation. Our small class size means a more personal experience in our private Pilates area. With a mix of reformer and jump board these classes cater to all levels of fitness and can cater to your personal goals. We do not believe in memberships or lock-in contracts. When you book a session, you pay for that session. How many times you come is up to you!

ON-DEMAND PILATES KIOSK

The On Demand Reformer Kiosk is your own personal Pilates session. The kiosk is your own personal screen which allows you to choose from over 200 classes run by qualified Pilates instructors and Physiotherapists. Put your headphones in and enjoy a workout in your own headspace - Your session - Your way. You set the pace, you choose the workout. No need to wait for a class - just book the time with the reformer that suits you. 

PHYSIO LED EXERCISE CLASS 

Join our small group exercise classes where you will experience a unique fusion of mobility and strength-based exercises utilising specialist equipment to improve your movement capacity.



Our qualified physiotherapists will guide you through an individualized program designed to enhance your muscle function, core strength and general well-being. Be supported in a group setting while achieving your personal and rehabilitative goals.


All group participants are required to have a one-on-one physiotherapy assessment prior to commencing the group classes to ensure this is the most appropriate setting to best achieve your goals!

FALLS PREVENTION AND STRENGTH CLASS

Our Strength and Falls Prevention classes are run by our qualified physiotherapists, and designed to maintain your strength, function and improve your balance! 

 

The class involves various upper and lower limb strengthening exercises to improve your general strength and maintain your function. Balance exercises are also incorporated to help keep you on your feet and maintain your independence.

 

This is the ideal class for people wanting to maintain their general strength and function as they are getting older.

 

Each person is required to have a one-on-one physiotherapist assessment prior to commencing the group to ensure that this is the right class to best achieve your personal, post-surgical and rehabilitative goals. 

MAT STRENGTH AND STRETCH CLASS

A movement and exercise class utilising clinical mat Pilates principles, taught by Nicole.

 

The class objective is to build and strengthen your body with predominantly floor based exercises and functional body movement.

 

The class aims to improve stability, control and injury recovery when used as part of your treatment plan. It is great to assist with recovery from back or lower limb pain, but is useful for anybody!
 

Class size is kept small to ensure correct body postures and techniques. The class would suit beginners. Bookings must be made to attend class.
